2: When preparing, the raw material composition and molecular weight of the two components can be adjusted to have a suitable viscosity at room temperature, which can be used to make high solid content or solvent-free two-component adhesives.
3: Usually, it can be cured at room temperature, and the curing speed can be reduced by selecting the raw materials for preparing the adhesive or adding catalysts. Generally, two-component polyurethane adhesives have a high initial adhesion force, known as heat curing, and their final bonding strength is greater than that of single component adhesives, which can meet the requirements of structural adhesives.
4: The dosage of the two components can be adjusted within a certain range, and there is generally a certain tolerance. The NCO/OH molar ratio of the two components is generally greater than or equal to 1. When cured, a portion of the NCO groups participate in the curing reaction of the adhesive, producing chemical adhesion. The excess NC0 groups can also produce urea esters, biuret, etc. during heating and curing, increasing the degree of crosslinking and improving the cohesive strength and heat resistance of the adhesive layer. Since its inception, two-component adhesives have become the most diverse and widely produced product among polyurethane adhesives due to their adjustable performance, high bonding strength, and wide bonding range.
