Carbon fiber materials can be bonded using DM-1510 acrylic structural adhesive – a special adhesive for carbon fiber bonding. This set of adhesive, consisting of two components mixed in a measuring tool, is made of modified acrylic ester capped with amino formate ester, which combines the advantages of both groups of substances. The bonding surface is tough and flexible, with high impact and peel resistance, and higher heat resistance than similar fast curing epoxy adhesives. Another advantage is that it is relatively insensitive to errors in mixing ratios, requiring little or no surface pre-treatment, and can bond various different materials.
