3.1 Vehicle roof adhesive is used to stick soft roof materials to the vehicle roof, adding beauty to the interior of the car. At present, the adhesive used for this purpose in China is mainly solvent based chloroprene adhesive, which requires high initial adhesion in terms of process and performance, meets the fast-paced needs of car interior production lines, and must not cause discoloration or detachment of interior materials.
3.2 Butyl sealing tape is made of butyl rubber added with tackifying resin and extruded into a tape shape. Its characteristics are: easy to press and adhere, good adhesion to steel plates and waterproof films, and can maintain viscoelasticity and sealing for a long time. Mainly used for bonding and sealing waterproof film on the inner panel of car doors to prevent rainwater from seeping into the interior of the car doors. The main varieties are:
(1) Anaerobic adhesive: Its characteristics are simple coating process, fast curing speed, and good locking and sealing performance. According to different requirements during use, three process methods can be adopted: on-site coating, pre coating, and infiltration. Among them, the pre coated high-strength microcapsule type anaerobic adhesive is particularly suitable for the fast-paced requirements of mechanical coating of a large number of threaded connectors on automobiles.
